It is then sold and won by a rich guy who turns out to be Valmont. Jackie and the enforcers go to Valmont's apartment to retrieve the mask, and a big fight ensues there. During the fight, the mask is broken in two by Hak-Foo, with one half ending up with Valmont and the other half caught by Jade. Valmont puts on his half and summons half of the shadowkahn. Jade puts on the other half and summons the other half, which have no heads. They arrive in a building where the two halves of the mask reunite and combine the shadowkahn into one to confront Jackie. While this is happening, Jade and Valmont try to remove their mask halves from each other, as Valmont wants money and the mask wants power. Eventually, they obtain the mask removal potion and take their halves off from each other.
