He wakes up in Valmont's hideout and "remembers" who he is - #1 Executor. The uncle creates a locating spell for Tohru, who has disappeared, and the gang tracks him down to India. Tohru, believing that Jackie is his enemy, engages in a battle with him. Triumphant, Valmont and Tohru continue to the Temple of the Golden Elephant. At the temple, Jackie tries to stop Tohru from stealing a jewel-encrusted elephant that will fund the return of the Dark Hand. Removing the Elephant causes the stone statues in the temple to come to life. Tohru and Jackie team up to face the animated statues while Valmont hides. Although Tohru has not regained his memory, he realizes that Jackie has helped him, while Valmont would sacrifice him, and he joins Jackie. In an attempt to bring Tohru back under his control, Valmont accidentally splashes himself with the amnesia potion and is handed over to the authorities.
