Mr. Mooney and his wife bring their dog to see Jack. Unsatisfied with Jack's inability to read his dog's thoughts, Mr. Mooney, who is friends with the city mayor, threatens to shut down his business. After the Mooneys leave, a wealthy man named Clyde Windsor brings his dog, Lucky, to see Jack, who is amazed by his ability to read the dog's thoughts. He seems concerned about this and ends the session early. Before Windsor leaves, Jack informs him that Lucky is disturbed by three individuals living with him.
